Five people were arrested in what police say is the biggest ever haul of marijuana they have ever made, in which two guns, a knife, tasers and over 5,000 euros in cash were also seized. The arrests were made at a 32-hectare site after police realized that even though the land was supposedly dedicated to cultivating industrial hemp, it did not have any permits to do this and in fact marijuana had been grown on a huge scale there since 2018.
